Family Service wants to help you and your family decide if you can offer a temporary or permanent home to a child in foster care. On the second and fourth Wednesday of every month there is an opportunity to learn how your family can make the difference in the life of a child in foster care. Attending an orientation is just the first step, and does not commit you to anything.
At an orientation, you will have the opportunity to learn about the steps a family takes to become licensed for foster care, and you will learn about the adoption process. We will attempt to answer all the questions you have and help you think of new ones!
We are looking for caring, nurturing families to provide temporary and permanent homes for children. The greatest need is for homes for children who are part of sibling groups of two or three. Please come to one of our orientations to find out how your family can help.
Our orientation schedule is as follows:
January 23, 5pm-8pm (If you have viewed the videos online, come at 6pm)
February 13, 9am-noon (If you have viewed the videos online, come at 10am)
February 27, 5pm-8pm (If you have viewed the videos online, come at 6pm)
March 13, 9am-noon (If you have viewed the videos online, come at 10am)
March 27, 5-8pm (If you have viewed the videos online, come at 6pm)
Please contact us at 517-787-7920 or email email@example.com to RSVP for one of the these orientations.
