Our counseling services help people in the community deal with emotional and relationship problems, and improve their quality of life. Our counselors can help with mental health problems like depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use disorder. Our counseling services can help people navigate the transitions in life such as adopting a child, coping with health concerns and aging, and grieving the loss of a loved one. We help adults with parenting concerns, and help children and adults cope with the aftereffects of abuse and neglect, grief and loss, and sexual abuse. Our experienced counselors specialize in child and adolescent counseling, play therapy, counseling of children in blended and adoptive families, sexual abuse counseling, family and marital counseling. Many of our therapists are certified in Trauma Focused CBT, and all have a good understanding of working with adults and youth who have experienced trauma.
Counseling appointments are available Monday-Thursday, 9am-7pm.
Most private insurance plans and Medicaid plans are accepted, and a sliding fee scale may apply for uninsured and underinsured Jackson residents, thanks to the United Way of Jackson. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay.
