Substance Abuse Counseling

FSCA is committed to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services during the COVID 19 pandemic.  If you are a new client seeking services, you can call 517-787-7920 to have a screening done Mon-Thursday 9-5pm. If you prefer to walk-in and be seen face-to-face, walk-ins are accepted on Monday and Wednesday: 10am- 12pm, Tuesday and Thursday: 2 – 4pm. We ask that all clients arrive no later than 11:30 on Monday and Wednesday, and no later than 3:30 Tuesday and Thursday to ensure they have enough time to complete the intake.

Family Service and Children’s Aid believes that individuals, adult, youth, and families should have the opportunity to access mental health and substance use services that are strength-based and provided in a welcoming, safe and supportive environment.

The goal of our services are to improve the overall quality of life through symptom relief, improve daily functioning, self-management, and emotional well-being of those receiving services.

Services are available to Jackson County residents and the surrounding areas. Family Service and Children’s Aid accepts most major insurances.  For mental health services, we also offer a sliding scale fee for those without insurance benefits (limited funding available).  Substance use services are available regardless of ability to pay.
