It has been a long year for our school based programs. Since last March, they have had to teach and provide services virtually. In the last few weeks, Ms. Shelly and Mr. Scott have been able to return to the class room for their eight day program for Jackson County High Schools and Middle Schools. This week they are at Hanover High School and Michigan Center Middle School. Their return to the classroom also means that the Take A Stand Project is back. This is where youth have the opportunity to make a statement as to why they do not want to use drugs or alcohol while still in school. If you would like more information about the program, visit their web page at Community and Youth Programs (strong-families.org) or follow them on Facebook (1) Breakout Drug Education | Facebook. The photos are from East Jackson High School students.
