Our counseling services help people in the community deal with emotional and relationship problems and improve their quality of life. Our experienced counselors specialize in child and adolescent counseling, play therapy, counseling of children in blended and adoptive families, sexual abuse counseling, family and marital counseling. Many of our therapists are certified in Trauma Focused CBT, and all have a good understanding of working with adults and youth who have experienced trauma.
Our counselors can help:
- Mental health problems like depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use disorder.
- Navigate the transitions in life such as
- adopting a child
- coping with health concerns and aging
- grieving the loss of a loved one
- Adults with parenting concerns
- Children and adults cope with the after effects of abuse and neglect, grief and loss, and sexual abuse
Most private insurance plans and Medicaid plans are accepted, and a sliding fee scale may apply for uninsured and underinsured Jackson residents, thanks to the United Way of Jackson. No one will be turned away because of the inability to pay.

For mental health services, we also offer a sliding scale fee for those without insurance benefits (limited funding available).
