Amrit joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2024. He represents American 1 Credit Union as the Contact Center Supervisor.

Donita Baker, Board President
Donita joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2021. She is in Retail Sales at Sweet Caroline’s.

Dave Booth, Director
Dave joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2026. He recently retired from a career in financial services and now works part-time in sales while also volunteering as a high school baseball coach.

John Fleming, Director
John joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2025. He is the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Dr. J. Frederick Bland, Director
Dr. Bland joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2023. He is an Associate Professor at Spring Arbor University and also runs his own Private Practice at Empowering Zone Counseling/Consulting.

Garrett Dowell, Director
Garrett joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2025. He is a Master Technician at Eaton Corporation.

Dave Goldfarb, Director
Dave joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2025. Dave is the President at Estate & Pension Plans, Inc.

Lynn Guernsey, Treasurer
Lynn joined the Family Service & Children’s Aid Board of Directors in 2025. Prior to Lynn’s retirement she worked for Family Service & Children’s Aid as a Social Worker and also for LifeWays as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
